This 2 hour, group tour provides an introduction to the observatory interface, telescope and camera control, and a brief survey of the night sky. This tour is required prior to participation in any other Sky Tour.

Astronomy course - Stars and Galaxies
This one semester course offers a survey of stars, galaxies, and other non-solar system topics. General principles of light, waves, and other basic physical science principles are covered. A study of telescope design and CCD imaging is presented. A STAR PORTAL subscription is included.

This subscription provides access to SkyTitan's on-line telescopes, lab activities, web learning portal, peer collaboration projects, web events, supervised instruction and training, and more. 6 hours of telescope time is provided.

Additional telescope time to provide extened time for the astronomy classes, STAR PORTAL activities, and collaborative research products. A subscription to either an Astronomy course or STAR PORTAL is required.
Telescope time - stand alone
Individuals who want to pursue their own astronomy activities or imaging runs can purchase telescope time without a STAR PORTAL or Astronomy course subscription. This product includes an observatory operator to provide technical assistance or guided instruction on the use of the telescope and imaging systems. This is a great way to get introduced to the world of on-line CCD astronomy. Stand alone time with an operator/trainer makes a great gift idea too!
